(Saturday) Acupressure's Potent Points for Common Complaints (Yang Conditions)

Acupressure is the Chinese healing art of restoring balance to Chi (lifeforce energy) to optimize health. In this introduction to Acupressure course, you will learn more than the fundamentals. You will learn potent points and Acupressure sequences for your clients' most common complaints. On Day 1 for Yang Complaints, you will learn point locations and functions to address: shoulder and neck tension, headaches, insomnia, stress, menstrual cramps, and hot flashes. You will learn Chinese massage techniques to activate points, and Jin Shin Acupressure, a powerful technique that is gentle on your body but works deeply on your clients. Throughout the class, you will have the opportunity to cultivate self-care by using these Acupressure sequences on yourself, as well as to practice on others.

What to Bring: Set of sheets, face cradle cover, notebook and pen. Should you choose to wear a mask, you may wear whichever style you want to wear. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing, as we will practice these modalities with clothes on. Please leave everything not needed for class in your vehicle or at home. Use a large tote bag (think Ikea or a beach tote) or suitcase to contain your "what to bring items".
