Learn ways to keep the ol' knee joints moving with ease and facilitating positive outcomes for common knee conditions. We will explore the knee joint and associated structures of the thigh and lower leg. Investigate the structural/functional components of weight bearing, balance and locomotion. Discuss the impact of torsional and lateral forces along with aging on the knee joint. Consider movement patterns, sitting, standing and walking mechanics that may influence joint function. We will engage the tissues to mobilize, stabilize, balance and decompress the knee joint and associated myofascial structures. Treatment labs will include approaches that involve the nervous system, muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, bones, joint capsule and interosseous membrane of tibia and fibula. Your clients "knee-d" your help, be prepared. Help clients experience their knees anew.
