I.) Diaphragm & Boundaries Boot Camp (Ethics): Both Days (Post Falls April 28-29, 2018)

Product Description

Instructor: Dawn Schmidt, LMP; NCBTMB #451818-11

Day 1 - (Diaphragm: Myofascial Connections Beyond Breath)

Do you have clients with chronic neck pain, low back pain, or frozen shoulder who are experiencing a treatment plateau? It could be due to unaddressed diaphragmatic myofascial restrictions. Safely explore and treat the diaphragm and thoracic cage beyond simply enhancing the breath. Learn to access and effectively release these restrictions with little effort using myofascial, decompressive and somatovisceral techniques. This class is about working smart not hard. Expand your current skill set, enhance treatment outcomes and minimize client frustration due to plateau disappointments.

What to Bring: Set of sheets, face cradle cover and bolster/pillow. Women please wear a covering bra/bikini top for ease of access to the chest and bring a pillow case for a breast drape. If you have an anatomy text (such as Clemente or Netter), please bring it for reference--it's not required.

Day 2 - (Boundaries Boot Camp -- Ethics)

Boundary fitness can be yours. Build your personal and professional communications, presence, awareness, communications, strength and confidence. Feel more energized in your practice. Recognize and choose to loose those behaviors that no longer serve you. Get in shape through playful interactive one-on-one activities and group discussions. Learn to notice and tend to “gut” feelings in an ethical and professional manner. Exercise your communication skills using a simple and easy to apply communications model setting and maintaining clear boundaries. It’s time to flex your boundary muscle.

Satisfies the NCBTMB, WA & ID State Ethics Requirements.

What to Bring: Something to write with.
