The Anatomy of Communication: A Precise System for Understanding & Transforming any Challenging Conversation (September 2, 2010)

Free Webinar with Dr. Ben Benjamin and Amy Yeager

SAVI TRAININGOne of the most important elements for succeeding in private practice is something that rarely gets enough attention in training programs: effective communication. Often this critical factor is dismissed as a non-essential skill, and glossed over in favor of more "practical" techniques.

There is some justification for that kind of skepticism. All too many communications seminars teach a few vague guidelines or principles, like "be respectful," "state your feelings," or "master your stories," and not much else. They don't fully prepare you to act differently in the midst of a tough conversation - setting boundaries with a client, listening to your colleague's complaints, or getting caught up in a heated argument.

What we need is a precise way to clearly identify what's happening in our communications, and the specific steps we can take to achieve a better result. The system we teach - called SAVI (the System for Analyzing Verbal Interaction) - will enable you to do just that.

In this webinar, we'll introduce you to this powerful system and show you how to use it to make any conversation work better. You'll leave with knowledge and skills you can apply to both professional and personal communication challenges.
