Whitney Lowe's Orthopedic Massage

Whitney LoweWhitney Lowe's OMERI and the Therapeutic Training Center have joined together to bring Lowe's Orthopedic Massage Hands-on Techniques to the Pacific Northwest. Lowe is a massage education pioneer at the forefront of massage continuing education and development. He is widely known for his expertise in assessment and massage therapy treatment approaches for chronic pain and injury conditions.

Lowe has developed one of the nation's premier orthopedic massage curriculums. He designed his system for massage therapists seeking to meet the needs of clients with chronic, sports, recreational or occupational pain and injury conditions. His program is a comprehensive approach to treating soft-tissue dysfunction. The program integrates therapeutic techniques, evaluation and assessment testing, information about common conditions and rehabilitation protocols.

Integral, and perhaps most important, is knowing the "how, when and why" of a clinical treatment plan or approach. This is what Lowe calls, "clinical reasoning." There are three courses in Lowe's Hands-On Orthopedic Massage Program. Two are hands-on workshops and on is an online course that brings all the above together in a challenging and highly educational application of knowledge.

By taking a portion of his certification program to an online format, Lowe has forged ahead in the massage continuing education field toward the unlimited opportunities that exist with innovations in education technology and theory. Lowe's program enables students to:
  • Reach educational and professional goals affordably and conveniently
  • Gain a higher quality education from a nationally recognized authority
  • Develop skill unattainable in the usual workshop setting
  • Please click on the following links for information:
