S.) LomiLomi Yoke and Royal Crown: Head, Neck & Upper Torso (Seattle July 13, 2013)

In this class we will explore the lomilomi approach to the sacred mantle or yoke of responsibility where the upper shoulders, clavicle, upper chest and neck meet the crown which is the head and face. The bodywork includes the flow of the ocean wave, R.O.M. of the neck and shoulders, deep and circular compression sequences along the sutures of the skull and face, along with gentle kneading lomilomi strokes and rhythmic pin and stretch sequences along the T.V.P.’s of the neck. Releasing the shouldered burdens we carry allows freedom and alignment to occur in the Crown and Sacred Yoke. In addition, you will learn foundational Hawaiian Healing Principles that are a part of what makes Hawaiian bodywork a unique approach to massage.
