ZF.) Lomi Loku o ka Lani: Deep Tissue Upper Body Focus (Seattle June 2-3, 2012)
In Heartspire Hawaiian lomilomi bodywork the metaphysical story of the work involves aligning the sacred marriage of the mother and father (the scapulas) to allow the freedom and spontaneity of the inner child (the heart and belly) to connect with Spirit. This workshop leaves you with a very effective deep tissue lomilomi session for the upper body to align and rebalance the spine, open the heart and chest, bring healing to shoulder cuff issues and drop the shoulders into a relaxed position, release and free up the elbows, wrists, and fingers, then lift and open the neck, ease tension in the po (skull ), and soften the countenance. Your clients will love this work, it is especially effective for shoulder/arm issues, recovering from cold/flu/sinus issues, and opening up the torso from turtle posture that comes from computer work etc.
