This course features a four hour investigation into kinesthetic anatomy of the pelvis. Review pelvic anatomy and postural patterns from the outside and then feel the territory from the inside, using Somatic movements to reawaken sensory-motor awareness. Learn how movement education can exponentially increase the benefits of your treatment. Somatic movements increase specific sensory information in a way that enhances motor control automatically. What results is the effortless self-correction of postural patterns and chronic tension which have been harmful to ourselves and to our clients.
Understanding the power of Somatic education within your own body will make it easy to enroll your clients in their own self-correction through Somatic movements. Learn movement exercises that can be taught within a session to facilitate your clients¿ self care and continued improvement long after the treatment is over.
