Non-specific low back pain is one of the most common conditions Massage therapists see. This class is designed to help you distinguish between True and peripheral neurologic involvement, as well as recognize and address the common patterns of soft tissue imbalance related to the condition. Upon completion of this class you will be able to:
- Identify the five key signs of true neurologic involvement, and distinguish this from peripheral neurologic conditions.
- Follow a clear and simple assessment process focused on evaluating the key joint and soft tissue dysfunctions related to chronic low back pain.
- Identify and develop effective treatment strategies for several common issues in non-specific low back pain such as S-I joint dysfunctions, pelvic tilts, and muscle tension - length imbalances.
- Integrate their myofascial, neuromuscular, and Swedish massage to help resolve chronic low back pain.
