What better way to totally relax than to take your Indian Head Massage technique to your clients during a regular massage? Learn this 15 minute routine that you can layer on to your regular table massage session or as an add-on treatment for a truly deluxe session.

What is Samadhi?
Indian Head Massage is a comprehensive style of massage with thousands of years of history typically done seated and clothed that powerfully affects the whole you. This class will focus more on the yin style of head massage--more soothing and relaxing, with slower movements that can induce a meditative state in both practitioner and client alike. Like its counterpart, champi, the Indian head massage practiced by barbers across India, you will find that Samadhi promotes beautiful hair and supple skin as well. During this class, we will focus on just the head, the face and scalp. Learn unique techniques that will help your clients to tap into a sublime state of mind.

Benefits of Samadhi--For the Client

  • Induces a powerful meditative state.
  • Invites clarity and present-moment awareness.
  • Deepens the breath.
  • Loosens the muscles of the face and scalp.
  • Revitalizes the skin & hair.

Benefits of Samadhi--For the Practitioner

  • Enjoy the benefits of tapping into a blissful, meditative and concentrated state.
  • Learn unique patterns of hand movement for massage.
  • Discover more ease and flow within your own massage style.
  • Viscerally connect with the 5-elements and learn to transmit their nuances.
